General conditions of sale Youth Pass

This pass, hereafter the “Youth Pass”, is available for a fee and reserved for young flyers aged 12 to 24 inclusive. It is for personal use only and non-transferable. It may be used only for travel ending at the latest on the day before the passholder’s 25th birthday. The Youth Pass is available in digital format only. You will receive a confirmation email containing your Youth Pass once you have activated it. The Youth Pass is valid for one year starting from the day on which Air France activates it. The activation date will be shown on the pass (for information, Air France will create the pass and send it to you electronically within on average 24 hours of receiving the application). In any event, the Youth Pass will be valid only until the day before the passholder’s 25th birthday, irrespective of the date on which the pass was activated. The pass entitles passholders to special Youth fares, subject to availability, for bookings made from France on all flights in metropolitan France operated by Air France ( as well as flights operated by Air Corsica between Paris and Corsica and AF flight number) and on certain Air France medium-haul routes (Germany, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, UK, Ireland, Russia, Armenia, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Bulgaria, Poland, Czech Republic, Netherlands (Amsterdam only), Serbia and Slovenia). Not valid across Europe for young people aged between 12 and 14 inclusive who are travelling alone. The Youth Pass entitles the passholder to discounts of up to 30 % on Standard fares. It also covers one item of hold luggage and enables the passholder to benefit from special terms if they wish to change or obtain a refund for their ticket. Please keep the digital Youth Pass you received via email. The card number must be entered when booking a Youth fare ticket. The Youth Passholder is entitled to these special Youth fares when travelling provided they are able to show proof of identity (national ID card, passport, residence permit) at the airport during any stage of their journey. Otherwise a price adjustment of €49 will be applied, corresponding to the price of the pass. The passholder will then be able to redeem this credit on the Youth Pass website by supplying a photo and proof of identity, entitling them to a pass free of charge. In any event, if the passholder fails to show their Youth Pass at the boarding gate, the initial ticket will be invalidated and the passholder will not be allowed to board the flight unless they pay the amount mentioned above (the price adjustment). If you lose your Youth Pass, you must inform us as soon as possible on +33 (0)9 69 39 36 54 (toll-free number), 7 days a week from 8 am to 10 pm. If the passholder loses their Youth Pass, they will have to wait until they receive a replacement before once again being entitled to Youth fares. An electronic replacement can be sent to them within on average 24 hours. The new Youth Pass will automatically be valid for the same dates as the initial pass. The Youth Pass may be confiscated immediately if it is used fraudulently, without prejudice to any legal action that might be taken.

When you book your Youth fare ticket, we will ask for your card number. This number is the one indicated on the Youth Pass you received by email.
