The Seychelles, the postcard destination
Discover the must-sees
Between the 43 granitic islands and the 72 coral islands, the Seychelles archipelago offers you more than 455 km² of land on which to criss-cross like an adventurer. Enjoy the sublime landscapes, a seabed where you can swim with the turtles, and breathtaking climbing spots and hiking trails.
As the starting point of your trip, Mahé is also the largest island in the Seychelles, with streets lined with colorful houses. The island also offers splendid panoramas, especially from the Morne Seychellois, the highest point of the archipelago that overhangs the Indian Ocean.
A dive in the Seychelles means discovering the shimmering world of corals, sea anemones, and manta rays. For snorkeling, put on your gear and head to the Saint-Anne National Marine Park while cruising along many remarkable sites.
Endemic to the Seychelles, the Aldabra giant tortoise is the largest terrestrial turtle, weighing up to 300 kg. While the largest colony is located on Aldabra island, you can also meet them on Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue islands.
